This is the final post for today for my HARD|<oR fanfiction.
This is the Book D edition titled 'The Book of Four'.
This is Chapter 6 titled: Madoka's Secret Memory.

As you can see, this is fanfiction harkening back to the old Kimagure
Orange Road Series. This is the 4th book in my fanfiction series. The
timeline for this occurs after ShinKOR II novel and covers some details
in Shin Kor III and beyond.

Chapter 6: Madoka Secret Memory
[At Ryokurin Ryo]
Shinohara: Sweet mother of heaven! What the hell!
(in comes the house, accompanied by Shun, Hasukawa, Tatsuya, Taku, and
Muroke)
Muroke: So -- you've finally found it.
Shinohara: Cruel to play a trick on me. Where is my ROLW tape?
Hasukawa: It's right on that top shelf you have there. But that's not
the important thing.
Shinohara; Oh no? What is?
Hasukawa: That tape you holding represents the efforts of the entire
gang here. It is the play that you will submit for the competition.
Shinohara: Don't joke with me. I don't need your pity.
Hasukawa: No, you don't. But we will give you our support nonetheless.
Judging by the abuse you took the other day...
Shinohara: Leave my father out of this! My behavior has nothing to do
with him!
Hasukawa: Your personal problems you have to resolve on your own. But
that doesn't mean we just sit idle by ourselves in isolation. Because
this house and those who live under it mean something. We stick
together and help each other out, through thick and thin. That was
something I almost failed to realize when I was going through my
sulking period. Despite your best efforts to antagonize your fellow
house-mates, we all would still extend our hand out to you, especially
during the tough times. That is what we call the Greenwood spirit.
Shinohara: Ah, just talk.
Hasukawa: You can decide what you want to do with this tape. But the
ending is still unfinished. We left that up to you to decide whether
it will be a happy and sad ending. It's all up to you. Alright
everyone. Let's give Shinohara-kun some privacy to think things over.
Shinohara: (looks back) Why?
[Back at the Ayukawa Mansion]
(Madoka milling about in the study)
M: I need to get his face out of my mind. I feel I can't hide this any
longer from Kyosuke. The truth which I have kept from him for some
time now. It was that face that was creeping ever more prevantly in
my thoughts. It was just killing me inside.
As I gazed at the spread of happy pictures of me, Kasuga, and Hikaru
layed out across the fireplace mantle, I recalled another life I once
led. A dark past before Kyosuke brought the light into my heart. And
within that dark shard of memory, I recalled his face. That man I
first loved. It seems like ages ago. It was a time I wanted to put
behind me forever as I start my new life with Kyosuke.
But seeing that man's face was like deja vu, releasing old memories
and pain. That why I was on the verge of the breaking point. But I
rationalize to myself that it couldn't possibly be him. He had died
already. During the gang wars. It was too unsettling.
I needed to confirm my feelings, one way or the other. Only a lone
photo remained of that tumultuous period in my life, hidden away in
one of the books in my study. It was time to revisit that photo.
(Scans the library and pulls out the book titled "Forbidden Lovers")
(As she opens the book, a photo drops out)
As she follows the photo's free-fall path, she espies a figure at the
window. As she looks up again towards the window, the figure is
gone. She runs to the window and opens it up to look out, but she sees
no one around.
She slowly returns to the spot and picks up the photo and takes a deep
glance into it. She falls back onto her piano seat and she starts to
shake in fear.
M: G h o s t ?
[In New York]
Everything was going just fine. It seemed my recent spade of bad luck
had finally run out, and my perseverance finally was paying
off. Everything seemed to fit perfectly, with my balancing work,
school, and rehearsals. The only bad thing was that I was so busy that
I had no time for Bruno. But that was ok for both of us. We both knew
where we stood with each other. And besides, I had Officer Clancy
would drop me a line to see how I was doing. I was in harmony now.
The play was progressing along very nicely. I had no stuck-up
character to deal with as Nagasi. Everyone was very nice. Except the
director would get high-strung at times. But that was only
natural. The whole troupe had been practicing together for over a
month now. That enough to get virgin nerves on edge. However, everyone
was quite surprised and takened aback at my remarkable calmness, being
that it was my first time in a Broadway play. They expected wide-eyed,
shocked eyes like Natalie. She's the one who plays the second half of
the princess part. She wasn't in that much, since we hadn't haven't
even grazed the second act of the play. Me, they would kid me with my
nickname "Star-chan." They said that I really danced like there were
stars in my eyes. Being in Haroken's play production process really
was a good learning experience. It really helped prepare me for the
big show. I owed him so much, so I was saving a gift for him when I
got back.
Yes, I am returning for a quick two week trip back to Japan. The play
reverted back to Natalie's turn now. I only had to be back just in
time for the solo dance finale. That was scheduled for early April. I
looked forward to the opportunity of returning to my homeland once
again to revisit my friends and family again.
"Hey Double-H! You with me? Talk to me!"
Hikaru: Sorry boss.
"Hatbox delivery. Think you can handle it?"
H: Sure. I'll get right on it.
"Good. People, keep alive! Whip up the pace!"
(Hikaru examines the addressee on the box: Vera Wang)
[Back at the Ayukawa Mansion]
(We see Kyosuke sneaking in)
K: Madoka been down lately. I think I'll surprise her by coming home
early. That would really cheer her up. But how? Hmmm....I'll just
flash in there. That's right. She would never expect it. God, I love
the Power!
(*FLASH*)
There she was, sitting at the table, working on her Powerbook
computer. I crept closer and closer to her but she didn't notice my
presence. Good, I thought to myself. But I noticed something
strange. She was just staring at the display. Not that there was
anything wrong. But on the display was the continuous arrangement of
the same characters. As I tip-toed closer, I noticed another object on
the table. A photo. But it wasn't the photo I was expecting. It
wasn't of me and Madoka. The big shock was that it was of Madoka and
another man. He had his hand on her left shoulder. Who was that guy
anyway?
I finally got close enough to see the characters on the screen.
Syujirou MISHIMA.
This was really worrying me. Why was Madoka mindlessly staring at this
name? Was he the man in the picture. Who was he anyway and what
relation was he to Madoka? A relative perhaps? A million questions
raced through my head. I finally decided it was time to break the
trance.
K: Madoka? (places his hand on her left shoulder from behind)
M: (gives an momentary, uncontrollable shudder) Are you the ghost
spriit?
K: No Madoka. It's me. Kyosuke. Can't you recognize me.
(Madoka turns around)
M: Kasuga-kun! Thank god it's you. (rushes into his arms)
K: What's wrong? You seemed like you went through a traumatic
ordeal. Did some strange man visit you today?
M: Please. I don't want to talk now. Just hold me now.
[New York, Downtown Manhattan]
(on the 7th floor)
(Hikaru exits out of the elevator, carrying the hatbox)
Little does she know that she is on a collision course ...
(*BANG*)
"Clumsy bitch! What are you blind? Watch where the hell you're going!"
Hikaru just sighs. <New York Hospitality. You just gotta bear with
it.> Wow...
(Hikaru gazes upon the most beautiful bridal headdress she has seen in
her life. On her knees, she gently picks it up with both hands)
H: Sugoi! So smooth and soft. This frilly pattern looks so fine.
(She holds it up to her face and thinks about trying it on.)
H: <Nah. I shouldn't. There's people around looking. I would be in big
trouble if I dared.> (tries to smooth out some wrinkles) You look
gorgeous. The bride who wears you will be one lucky person. I wish I
could try you on?
"What is stopping you?"
H: I can't. I mean sorry for blocking your way.
"You needn't be so timid. You must be dying to try it on. Here. Let me
help you."
The lady takes off Hikaru's baseball hat and gently places the bridal
headdress on her head, like a crown.
"Magnificent. Simply perfect."
H: Wow. It really feels great. But won't I get in big trouble for
this?
"Don't worry about it. My designs were meant to be worn; not admired
or gawked at from afar."
H: You're Vera Wang? Oh my god!
[Back to Tokyo]
(Mishima is seen entering XYZ Studios again)
(A man walks out from the telephone pole)
Jackson: So buddy. It seems Mr Mystery Man is making a little
housecall to XYZ Studios. What's the connection? JADE once worked in
that studios. Could it be... Man, I sure hope it ain't a
conspiracy. 'cause me enough headache on the jewel thieves case. But I
got your mugshot right here. (holds the camera in one hand) Once I ID
you, I'm going to nail you!
[A few days later...]
[At the Ayukawa mansion]
(*ding dong*)
Kyosuke: Who is it?
(turns around and see his grandparents standing before him! They look
like Hawaiian tourists)
K: Ojiichan! Obaachan! What are you two doing here?
Ojiichan: Why, to see you of course. Well, not really you. I really
want to see Madoka-chan!
K: (annoyed tone) Ojiichan!
Ojiichan: What's the matter? Can't an old man have some fun?
K: The problem is you've been having too much fun your whole life.
Ojiichan: As we should. We need to enjoy our "golden" years.
K: Where did you visit this time?
Ojiichan: Okinawa. Did you know that have the most beautiful
butterflies there? Right Obaasan?
Obaason: Oi, oi.
K: That's nice. Thanks for dropping by. You must get going to your
next destination.
Ojiichan: No need. We here.
K: What? Here?
Ojiichan: Yes here! Why spend money on a hotel when you have such a
big place.
K: That's not what I meant. Why are you staying here?
Ojiichan: Preparations. You and Madoka are getting married?
K: Umm yeah. But not so soon!
Ojiichan: You must not know the tradition!
K: Tradition?
Ojiichan: Yes! We ESPers hold marriage with the utmost sanctity. It is
a strict, elaborate ceremonial process. Customarily, the entire
village makes preparations 3 months beforehand. Right Obaa-chan?
Obaachan: Oi, Oi.
K: That long? How come I haven't heard about this super-secret
ceremony?
Ojiichan: Because it's an ancient ESPer secret. As secret as the
marriage ceremony of the Emperor of Japan!
K: Hmm. I guess you have a point there. They only showed diagrams of
the ceremony on TV.
Ojiichan: Then it's agreed. We stay here to prepare for your wedding.
You can help us with our bags.
(Ojiichan uses the Power! to float the luggage over and drop it over
Kyosuke!)
Ojiichan: Oops! Miscalculation.
[At the Shin ABCB]
(The competition begins!)
Everyone is gathered at the Shin ABCB. The whole bar is packed!
Mitsuru Hayakawa stands up at the podium.
Hayakawa: Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Today, we have the main
event. A clash of two rivals. To decide once and for all who is the
best. In this corner, we have the team lead by Akane Kasuga!
(*yeahs and cheers*)
And we have the challengers, led by the Asuma Shinohara!
(*boos*)
I now introduce to you the judges for this contest. Alas, I am not a
judge myself. But here they are: First up is the pack-rat musician
with his own rat pack, the Pack man!
(*hurrah, hurrah*)
Next up is the lovely and talented singer who I led slip through my
fingers, but is still a treat to listen to, the immaculate Yukari!
(*bigger cheers *)
And last, we have a surprise last-minute change in our judges panel,
the irrasible, irritable one himself, just plain 'Izzy'!
A collective...
(* H U H??? *)
And now without further ado, let the contest begin.
Manami: You're certainly exuding confidence tonight Akane.
Akane: (pumps her fists) You bet I am! It is a big step for womankind
in Japan. This day will mark my crowning achievement in defeating the
likes of Shinohara and his goons. Except for the kawaii Shun of
course! She's the only good one in that wacky house.
Manami: She? Akane, I think there is a misunderstanding here.
Akane: What misunderstanding could there be? Shun-chan would be a
great addition to our group. I hope to lure her from the "dark side"
over there over to our side. It must be hell to be residing with those
filthy savages. I think she would appreciate the sensibilities of a
woman's group.
Manami: I think there's something I need to clear up with you Akane.
Akane: Love to chit-chat some more, but our film is about to begin.
Manami: <I guess I can tell her afterwards. Boy, would she be
embarrassed!> (looks around) <I wonder where Muroke is?>
[Akane and company's film starts first]
Film Title: T E N S H I A n g e l s
(We hear Kazuya's voice narrating.)
"What am I doing here? This ain't suppose to be like that. These huts,
up in the trees. They look just like the ones in the Yurushite manga.
(Scene shifts to modern times. We see a school building and three
girls sitting along its vast flight of steps. It is Akane, Manami, and
Kurumi, but they are dressed retro 70's style.)
"Kandy, are ya gonna help out or what?"
"I don't know 'bout this ERA chapter Adrean. Do you really think we as
a sex should be organizing ourselves? "
"Course. Everyone is really open, and loose, and free. Free love is in
the air. Mandy can back me up on that. Ain't that a fact Mandy? Mandy?
"What is?"
"Whatcha starin' at?"
"I'm looking at the birds. The birds in the sky. See how they fly so
free in the big blue sky. And so high."
"Girl, I think she's sky high. What you've been smokin'?"
"Me smoke? (*giggles*)"
"Or was it those magic colorful mushrooms last night? Cuzin' Kazou got
em in the virgin forests of Narusawa."
(A bright glowing shell appears out of nowhere and the 3 girls are
trapped within)
They see glittering heavenly figure kneeling before them.
Mystery Woman: I haven't much time. You three must be the chosen
ones. I shall annoit each of you three with a special power. It will
aid you in your fight against the forces of evil.
Kandy: Whatcha talkin' about lady?
Mystery Woman: No time to spare. (she touches them each lightly on
their forehead)
Mystery Woman: Each of you now possess a unique Power! When you three
link your hands together in a form of a triangle, you will transform
into gallant Protectors of the universe. Activation is done by this
simple phrase:
"We three will free ..."
(*another bright flash*)
Adrean: We're back!
Kandy: Man, what a trip! She was so beautiful!
Mandy: You saw that too?
Adrean: We all did! It must be a sign! We should start the ERA
chapter!
Kandy: I'm a believer now.
Adrean: But what were her final words?
[Segway to a studio shot]
(We see Komatsu wearing a white hat and white fur coat. He is
ornamented with gold jewelry around his hands and neck)
(We see Hatta dressed rather plainly, at his drawing board)
King Kome (aka Komatsu): How's it hangin' my brother?
Mr H. (aka Hatta): Not too good Kingpen. I can't seem to think of
anything nasty to draw.
King Kome: What's the matter? Need some honeys to get ya into the
mood?
Mr H: That won't help. In fact, I think I'm cursed! By a kappaneko in
my dream! I'm afraid my Yurushite manga is doomed! //kappaneko is a
creature that is part cat, part fish.
King Kome: Hold up bro. I'll get a witch-doctor to look at ya.
[Back at Adrean's house]
(Kandy and Mandy are over)
Kandy: Why you call us over? And why is Kazy tied up?
Adrean: My little brother Kazy (//aka Kazuya) is creeping me out!
Mandy: (stares blanky at him) He is A-OK to me.
Adrean: Oh yeah? Listen to him.
Kazy: (evil voice) All of you are doomed! I am Adelf the
demon-king. You are a fool to think I would not awaken again. I have
returned to wreak havoc upon this land once again. You cannot hope to
restrain me in this puny, artificial shell. I shall wipe out all of
you kappaneko. My minions will eat and gnaw at your carrion.
Mandy: He sure sounds like Kaneto Shiozawa.
Kandy: Is he on drugs or what?
Adrean: (looks into his eyes) Nope. No LSD. He must be possessed!
Mandy: You mean like in the Exorcist? How gross!!
Kandy: What to do?
Adrean: I don't know, but we need to see Madoora. She specializes in
the occult.
[Back to the village, inside a hut]
Kazy: (looks at himself in the mirror) Jesus Christ! That spell must
have exchanged my Yurushite manga I was reading and teleported me into
the story! I knew I shouldn't have mixed manga and magicbooks at the
same time! And now I'm stuck here in this strange land!
(A figure walks in with a bow and a lance)
Kazy: Who are you?
"I am the Dean. I lead my people here."
Kazy: Oh yeah. The kappanekos. What do you call your village?
"Kappaneko Village."
Kazy: Oh. I see you are real "happening" creatures here.
Dean: We try to be as simple as possible.
Kazy: Figures.
(in walks a beautiful lady)
"You are conscious now. That is good."
Kazy: Who are you?
"She is the Watcher. She watches over us."
"Do not fear. You may look like the kappaneko, but I know you are not
one of them. "
Kazy: Is this some crazy dream I'm having? Why am I here?
Watcher: We do not know your purpose here. But I have summoned your
friends to your aid.
Kazy: Who?
(The Watcher springs her palm forward and a giant crystal=like ball
appears, showing the 3 ladies)
Kazy: That's sis and her friends!
Watcher: I hope they can defeat Adelf in their dimension. Otherwise,
we are doomed.
Kazy: Adelf?
Watcher: He is the great evil which threatens us. He has extreme
hatred and bigotry towards these people.
Kazy: Why is that?
Watcher: Because he believes that the kappaneko is inferior and should
be destroyed.
Kazy: What a cruel creature. Why do you watch over the kappanekos?
Watcher: That is the way of our all-female sister order. The Guardians
has entrusted us to protect them. I am the matriarch of the order. You
came just in our hour of need.
Kazy: Me?
Watcher: Yes. Adelf has been dormant for over a hundred years. But the
deep evil hatred within him did not die. It grew stronger, making him
stronger. And now he has awoken. Out of desperation, I cast a
dimensional soul switcher spell.
Kazy: Oh. So it wasn't my fault after all. Then why am I not in his
body then?
Watcher: I do not know.
[Back to the Wasuda University]
Adrean: Come on, she's in here!
(We see a dark room inside a dorm with candles)
Adrean: Madoora!
(We see a figure, dressed in all black gown)
Mandy: Spooky!
(Madoora looks up from what looks like a spellbook): Yeesss?
Adrean: My brother's possessed. Can you help?
Madoora: Does a black cat give bad luck? Let me see him.
(We hear growling sounds, as Kandy hauls him in)
Kandy: Watch it or he'll bite!
(Madoora starts to utter an incantation while sprinkling some sort of
dust over the subject)
(some candles go out!)
Madoora: I see a powerful evil spirit inside what was once your
brother. I do not sense your brother's spirit within.
Adrean: Can he be helped?
Madoora: Perhaps. Only an exchange of souls. But alas, where your
brother's soul is wandering, who can foretell.
Mandy: The kid was holding this mangazine at the time.
Madoora: (moves her hand over it) Yes...I feel a strong spiritual
sensation from this object. Your brother may lie within.
Adrean: How do we get him out of there?
Madoora: I need the essence from the creator, of which I can brew a
potion that can create a psychic channel. Only then will we know if
he's there or not.
Mandy; Wonder who wrote the manga?
(*Knock knock knock*)
(In walks King Kome and Mr H!)
Madoora: You must be the troubled men.
King Kome: I ain't. But my main man is. I need you witch-lady to fix
him up, if you know what I mean.
Adrean: Hey, we were here first!
Mr H: Sorry, but I have kappaneko telling me that I'm going to die!
Kazy!: Yes, Kappaneko die!
Mr H: I see you have other wackos to attend to.
Adrean: Hey, how come you know about kappaneko?
Mr H: Of course I should know! I create the creatures in my manga
Yurushite A-GE-RU.
(Kandy slams the door shut behind them)
King Kome: What's going on?
Mandy: Lucky!
[Back to Kappaneko village]
Kazy: So this is what is looks like beyond this area.
(We see a shell of sorts surrounding this green paradise. Beyond the
shell we see a brownish wasteland)
Watcher: 500 years ago, this whole area was a wasteland of war, fought
because of their lust for land. Two sides with no compunction for
killing each other. This continual conflict became bitter rivalries
which beget hatred and revenge.
Kazy: Then how did this area come into place?
Watcher: Legend has it that a greater being came from the sky, riding
a flying white horse. It offered amnesty to those willing to lay down
their arms and make peace. But the main chieftain refused to go along
and instead chose to challenge him. That was Adelf the
Destroyer. There was a great battle. In the end, the unnamed figure
could not destroy Adelf, for that was not in its nature. Instead, it
put a seal on him. And with the last of its strength, it created this
paradise. You know it as the Kappaneko domain.
Kazy: Wow. I didn't know there was such a history to this place. I
just know it as an area in a manga where pretty babes hang out.
(A shrill sounds resonates in the air)
Kazy: What's that?
Watcher: That is a dimensional contact warning. Someone is trying to
reach here.
[Back at Wasuda]
(We see a pot brewing, and Madoora waving a wand and uttering an
incantation)
(She throws in a lock of hair from Mr H.)
Madoora: Oto sasto nisa broma. Talo neko kazoom!
(Nothing happens)
Mandy: Too bad.
Adrean: No! We can give up now! We were given some special power. We
must use it now to activate.
Kandy: What do we do?
Adrean: Let's join hands and utter the sequence.
"Ryoukuai!"
(The 3 stand in a triangle formation around the pot, with the hands
join. They walk around the pot).
We three shall free!
(Nothing happens)
Adrean: Did we forget something?
Kandy: Must have. What could it be?
Mandy: Does it rhyme?
Kazy!: (growls) Free me! Free my spirit within!
Adrean: That must be it! Let's try that.
We three shall free the spirit within!
(A portal spring up from the Yurushite manga book on the floor!)
(Also appearing, after a transformation sequence is the girls now
wearing sailor suits!)
King Kome: Foxy downtown brown! Genuine honeys!
Mandy: Look at us!
Adrean: No time to admire ourselves. We must enter through the portal!
(The 3 girls enter along with the possessed Kazy)
(*A bright flash!*)
They land on a meadow. Approaching them is the Watcher, the Dean, and
kappaneko Kazy.
Kappaneko Kazy: That's my sister! And that's my body!
Kazy!: I have finally entered this zone! Now you shall feel my wrath!
Watcher: Adelf!
Kazy!: Yes. Inside this little boy's body lies the great and power
Adelf.
Dean: Watcher! Let me go vanquish this great evil when we have a
chance.
Kappaneko Kazy: You can't do that! You'll destroy my body.
Kazy!: You will not harm me! But I will harm you! With my assistants!
Adrean: I am Sailor Red.
Kandy: I am Sailor Pink.
Mandy: And I am Sailor Yellow.
(in unison) "Together we're the Sailor Tenshi serving the great master
Adelf!"
(The girls have this stoned look on their face)
Kazy!: Yes Watcher. You forget that I have the power of mind control.
I have used your own creations against you. I shall take pleasure
destroying this place with your own hand! Attack!
Sailor Red launches the "flame" technique, by jumping and sending a
fireball towards one of the huts, setting it on fire.
Kappaneko Kazy: (to the Watcher) Aren't you going to do anything? Are
you going to stand there and watch?
Watcher: I cannot attack. I am a pacifist. That is why I gave these
girls the power to fight for us.
Kappaneko Kazy: Great. We gonna die!
Sailor Pink launches the "Momoiro-toki" technique.
Sailor Yellow just stands there.
Kazy!: Attack! I told you to attack!
Sailor Yellow: But I don't have an attack. But I have flowers. Want
some flowers?
Kazy!: You good for nothing girl!
Dean: This must be the end for us kappaneko.
(A bright flash appears again)
(It is Madoora!)
Kappaneko Kazy: Now who is she?
Kazy!: Get the witch lady!
(but Madoora calmly holds up a camera and starts to flash it into each
of the Sailor Tenshi eyes)
Adrean: Woah, what happened?
Kandy: Were we knocked out or what?
Mandy: I want to take a nap.
(Madoora flashes the camera at Kazy!, but to no avail)
Kazy!: Your tricks won't work on me! Now I shall reveal my true self!
(We see Kazy!'s body collapse to the grass)
(They see a shapeless, silver form rise up, like in Terminator 2)
Watcher: Adelf!
Adelf: I have waited 500 years, but victory shall be mine! I shall
raze this place to ashes!
"Not if we have anything to say about it!"
"'Cause we're the Tenshi Angels!"
Adrean: And on behalf of the Angels, we shall PUNISH you!
Adelf: You weaklings are no match for me!
(Adelf unleashes an red energy bolt!)
(The 3 angels respond back with their own technique. They stand in
triangle formation and shoot blue energy beams right back. We see the
red and blue energies colliding with each other. But the red energy
bolt is slowly overtaking the blue one.)
Kandy: He's too strong for us! We can't hold out much longer!
Mandy: What shall we do?
Adrean: We must keep trying.
Dean: We must help them!
Watcher: No. There is nothing we can do. But perhaps you can. (points
to Madoora)
Madoora: What can I do?
Watcher: Legend has it that the four "angels" from another dimension
would come to subdue the revival of Adelf. You are the "lone" angel.
(They hold hands and a strange glow starts to emanate from Madoora)
Madoora: I understand my purpose now.
(Back to the battle)
Kandy; We're done for!
(The red beam knocks all the angels off their feet and to the grass!)
Adelf: Ha ha ha! You puny creatures are no match for the great Adelf!
Now to finish you off!
"You should watch what you say."
Adelf: Who said that?
"I did."
(We see Madoora floating right above Adelf!)
Madoora: We sisters shall join together to put you away for good! Now
Ladies!
"Right!"
(The 4 ladies channel their powers together to initiate the SUPER
BEAM!)
(It looks like a pyramid formation they are forming)
Adelf: No! It cannot be! I'm shrinking, I'm shrinking...
(*POOF!*)
(They see a silver metallic ore on the ground where Adelf once stood)
[Segway back to a sleeping Mr H. back in his studio]
"Yo brother! You OK?"
Mr H: Kingpen! I had the strangest dream. It was about these 4 foxy
angelic creatures and they were fighting this evil creature in my
Yurushite make-believe land and...
King Kome: You found your touch again brother! Your manga block is
over. Start drawing! And don't forget to make those fine ladies extra
nice and naked.
"Delivery!"
King Kome: Lunch boy is here.
"Mister, that will be 740 yen."
Mr H: Hey, haven't I seen you before?
(Delivery boy looks up from his baseball cap covering his face. We see
it is Kazy!)

[Back at #1's apartment]
Muroke: Haven't I done enough?
(*Woof*)
#1: You heard the dog. Taki says no.
Muroke: What more do you want from me? I've followed Shijama around
this past week and got you the recordings.
#1: If recordings of mumbo-jumbo by a bogus priest is your idea of
help, then no.
Muroke: Like what am I suppose to do? Go undercover and infiltrate
this cult for you?
#1: Hmmmm. That's not a bad idea at all! Since you volunteered...
Muroke: Ooops! Me and my big mouth!
[Intermission between the films]
(Akane sees Shun in the bathroom vicinity)
Akane: Shun-san! Just the person I wanted to see! You're taking a
bathroom break during the intermission? Me too. Let's go together.
Shun: Huh?
(Akane drags him into the Woman's Restroom!)
Shun: Um, Akane-san. What did you want me for?
Akane: What I want to tell you...(edges in closer)...for the longest
time (and closer)...how much...(even closer!) I admire you. (Akane
face is only a breath away from Shun's face)
Shun: You admire me?
Akane: (deep voice) Yes. It is so magnificent how you can control a
gang of unruly boys at that house.
Shun: (tries to creep away) I do try my best as an RA to keep the boys
in line.
Akane: Oh, how modest you are. But not I. I have withheld my
"admiration" from you for too long. But no longer. Now is the right
time to express my true feelings for you. I just wanted to say that
I...
Shun: Hold on! All this tension is really making me want to go! Gomen!
(rushes into the stall. We soon hear the trickling of water)
(Akane waits patiently, but notices a strange thing. Shun's feet seems
to be in the wrong position.)
As Shun leaves the stall, Akane sees Shun zip up his front zipper.
Akane: (puts her hand over her mouth) You're....you're a man!
(Akane rushes out out the bathroom!)
[At the Tokyo police precinct]
Jackson: You got that registration info for me Natsumi?
Natsumi: Sure did buckaroo. But it's highly irregular for you to ask
me to check out a rental car.
Jackson: Who else in the traffic division could I ask but you?
Natsumi: Don't kid yourself; your sweet-talk don't work on me.
Jackson: So it doesn't. So what have you got?
Natsumi: According to the rental car agency, the car is registered out
to the Yamazumi Kensetsu corporation. They're the biggest construction
company in Japan. But here's the strange part. They didn't bother to
take his name. Looks like someone's hands got a fill of bribe money.
Jackson: Thanks Natsumi. That info is help enough. I'll soon get to
the bottom of this. I owe you one.
Natsumi: You bet you do. I'm aiming to collect real soon. So watch
your back!
Jackson: You too. Ja.
[Ayukawa Mansion]
(Kyosuke, ojiichan, and obaachan all sitting around drinking tea)
Ojiichan: A ghost? In this house?
Kyosuke: Yes. That's what Madoka thinks. That's was why I was so
hesitant to let you stay here. She hasn't gotten a good night sleep in
days. So I made her take sleeping pills. That's why she's upstairs
right now, peacefully slumbering. She's been pretty spooked by this
ghost thing.
Ojiichan: Ghost is not good. Haunts the soul and the mind. Bad omen
for marriage. Am I not right?
Obaachan: Oi, Oi.
K: Of course I know it's not good. But what am I suppose to do about
it?
Ojiichan: You need my help. You might not be able to sense these
things, since you're a half-Esper. All the more reason for us to stay
here. We'll be your ghosthunters!
K: Uh oh.
[Back to the Shin ABCB]
Taku: That film was awfully good. And Rikkako was great as Madoora. It
looks like we have our work cut for us.
Hasukawa: We mustn't lose the faith.
Hayakawa Mitsuru: Everyone please return to your seats. And now, the
second half of our double-feature. Presenting the Ryokurin Ryo Acting
Troupe and their film!

Chapter 6: Madoka Secret Memory
[At Ryokurin Ryo]
Shinohara: Sweet mother of heaven! What the hell!
(in comes the house, accompanied by Shun, Hasukawa, Tatsuya, Taku, and
Muroke)
Muroke: So -- you've finally found it.
Shinohara: Cruel to play a trick on me. Where is my ROLW tape?
Hasukawa: It's right on that top shelf you have there. But that's not
the important thing.
Shinohara; Oh no? What is?
Hasukawa: That tape you holding represents the efforts of the entire
gang here. It is the play that you will submit for the competition.
Shinohara: Don't joke with me. I don't need your pity.
Hasukawa: No, you don't. But we will give you our support nonetheless.
Judging by the abuse you took the other day...
Shinohara: Leave my father out of this! My behavior has nothing to do
with him!
Hasukawa: Your personal problems you have to resolve on your own. But
that doesn't mean we just sit idle by ourselves in isolation. Because
this house and those who live under it mean something. We stick
together and help each other out, through thick and thin. That was
something I almost failed to realize when I was going through my
sulking period. Despite your best efforts to antagonize your fellow
house-mates, we all would still extend our hand out to you, especially
during the tough times. That is what we call the Greenwood spirit.
Shinohara: Ah, just talk.
Hasukawa: You can decide what you want to do with this tape. But the
ending is still unfinished. We left that up to you to decide whether
it will be a happy and sad ending. It's all up to you. Alright
everyone. Let's give Shinohara-kun some privacy to think things over.
Shinohara: (looks back) Why?
[Back at the Ayukawa Mansion]
(Madoka milling about in the study)
M: I need to get his face out of my mind. I feel I can't hide this any
longer from Kyosuke. The truth which I have kept from him for some
time now. It was that face that was creeping ever more prevantly in
my thoughts. It was just killing me inside.
As I gazed at the spread of happy pictures of me, Kasuga, and Hikaru
layed out across the fireplace mantle, I recalled another life I once
led. A dark past before Kyosuke brought the light into my heart. And
within that dark shard of memory, I recalled his face. That man I
first loved. It seems like ages ago. It was a time I wanted to put
behind me forever as I start my new life with Kyosuke.
But seeing that man's face was like deja vu, releasing old memories
and pain. That why I was on the verge of the breaking point. But I
rationalize to myself that it couldn't possibly be him. He had died
already. During the gang wars. It was too unsettling.
I needed to confirm my feelings, one way or the other. Only a lone
photo remained of that tumultuous period in my life, hidden away in
one of the books in my study. It was time to revisit that photo.
(Scans the library and pulls out the book titled "Forbidden Lovers")
(As she opens the book, a photo drops out)
As she follows the photo's free-fall path, she espies a figure at the
window. As she looks up again towards the window, the figure is
gone. She runs to the window and opens it up to look out, but she sees
no one around.
She slowly returns to the spot and picks up the photo and takes a deep
glance into it. She falls back onto her piano seat and she starts to
shake in fear.
M: G h o s t ?
[In New York]
Everything was going just fine. It seemed my recent spade of bad luck
had finally run out, and my perseverance finally was paying
off. Everything seemed to fit perfectly, with my balancing work,
school, and rehearsals. The only bad thing was that I was so busy that
I had no time for Bruno. But that was ok for both of us. We both knew
where we stood with each other. And besides, I had Officer Clancy
would drop me a line to see how I was doing. I was in harmony now.
The play was progressing along very nicely. I had no stuck-up
character to deal with as Nagasi. Everyone was very nice. Except the
director would get high-strung at times. But that was only
natural. The whole troupe had been practicing together for over a
month now. That enough to get virgin nerves on edge. However, everyone
was quite surprised and takened aback at my remarkable calmness, being
that it was my first time in a Broadway play. They expected wide-eyed,
shocked eyes like Natalie. She's the one who plays the second half of
the princess part. She wasn't in that much, since we hadn't haven't
even grazed the second act of the play. Me, they would kid me with my
nickname "Star-chan." They said that I really danced like there were
stars in my eyes. Being in Haroken's play production process really
was a good learning experience. It really helped prepare me for the
big show. I owed him so much, so I was saving a gift for him when I
got back.
Yes, I am returning for a quick two week trip back to Japan. The play
reverted back to Natalie's turn now. I only had to be back just in
time for the solo dance finale. That was scheduled for early April. I
looked forward to the opportunity of returning to my homeland once
again to revisit my friends and family again.
"Hey Double-H! You with me? Talk to me!"
Hikaru: Sorry boss.
"Hatbox delivery. Think you can handle it?"
H: Sure. I'll get right on it.
"Good. People, keep alive! Whip up the pace!"
(Hikaru examines the addressee on the box: Vera Wang)
[Back at the Ayukawa Mansion]
(We see Kyosuke sneaking in)
K: Madoka been down lately. I think I'll surprise her by coming home
early. That would really cheer her up. But how? Hmmm....I'll just
flash in there. That's right. She would never expect it. God, I love
the Power!
(*FLASH*)
There she was, sitting at the table, working on her Powerbook
computer. I crept closer and closer to her but she didn't notice my
presence. Good, I thought to myself. But I noticed something
strange. She was just staring at the display. Not that there was
anything wrong. But on the display was the continuous arrangement of
the same characters. As I tip-toed closer, I noticed another object on
the table. A photo. But it wasn't the photo I was expecting. It
wasn't of me and Madoka. The big shock was that it was of Madoka and
another man. He had his hand on her left shoulder. Who was that guy
anyway?
I finally got close enough to see the characters on the screen.
Syujirou MISHIMA.
This was really worrying me. Why was Madoka mindlessly staring at this
name? Was he the man in the picture. Who was he anyway and what
relation was he to Madoka? A relative perhaps? A million questions
raced through my head. I finally decided it was time to break the
trance.
K: Madoka? (places his hand on her left shoulder from behind)
M: (gives an momentary, uncontrollable shudder) Are you the ghost
spriit?
K: No Madoka. It's me. Kyosuke. Can't you recognize me.
(Madoka turns around)
M: Kasuga-kun! Thank god it's you. (rushes into his arms)
K: What's wrong? You seemed like you went through a traumatic
ordeal. Did some strange man visit you today?
M: Please. I don't want to talk now. Just hold me now.
[New York, Downtown Manhattan]
(on the 7th floor)
(Hikaru exits out of the elevator, carrying the hatbox)
Little does she know that she is on a collision course ...
(*BANG*)
"Clumsy bitch! What are you blind? Watch where the hell you're going!"
Hikaru just sighs. <New York Hospitality. You just gotta bear with
it.> Wow...
(Hikaru gazes upon the most beautiful bridal headdress she has seen in
her life. On her knees, she gently picks it up with both hands)
H: Sugoi! So smooth and soft. This frilly pattern looks so fine.
(She holds it up to her face and thinks about trying it on.)
H: <Nah. I shouldn't. There's people around looking. I would be in big
trouble if I dared.> (tries to smooth out some wrinkles) You look
gorgeous. The bride who wears you will be one lucky person. I wish I
could try you on?
"What is stopping you?"
H: I can't. I mean sorry for blocking your way.
"You needn't be so timid. You must be dying to try it on. Here. Let me
help you."
The lady takes off Hikaru's baseball hat and gently places the bridal
headdress on her head, like a crown.
"Magnificent. Simply perfect."
H: Wow. It really feels great. But won't I get in big trouble for
this?
"Don't worry about it. My designs were meant to be worn; not admired
or gawked at from afar."
H: You're Vera Wang? Oh my god!
[Back to Tokyo]
(Mishima is seen entering XYZ Studios again)
(A man walks out from the telephone pole)
Jackson: So buddy. It seems Mr Mystery Man is making a little
housecall to XYZ Studios. What's the connection? JADE once worked in
that studios. Could it be... Man, I sure hope it ain't a
conspiracy. 'cause me enough headache on the jewel thieves case. But I
got your mugshot right here. (holds the camera in one hand) Once I ID
you, I'm going to nail you!
[A few days later...]
[At the Ayukawa mansion]
(*ding dong*)
Kyosuke: Who is it?
(turns around and see his grandparents standing before him! They look
like Hawaiian tourists)
K: Ojiichan! Obaachan! What are you two doing here?
Ojiichan: Why, to see you of course. Well, not really you. I really
want to see Madoka-chan!
K: (annoyed tone) Ojiichan!
Ojiichan: What's the matter? Can't an old man have some fun?
K: The problem is you've been having too much fun your whole life.
Ojiichan: As we should. We need to enjoy our "golden" years.
K: Where did you visit this time?
Ojiichan: Okinawa. Did you know that have the most beautiful
butterflies there? Right Obaasan?
Obaason: Oi, oi.
K: That's nice. Thanks for dropping by. You must get going to your
next destination.
Ojiichan: No need. We here.
K: What? Here?
Ojiichan: Yes here! Why spend money on a hotel when you have such a
big place.
K: That's not what I meant. Why are you staying here?
Ojiichan: Preparations. You and Madoka are getting married?
K: Umm yeah. But not so soon!
Ojiichan: You must not know the tradition!
K: Tradition?
Ojiichan: Yes! We ESPers hold marriage with the utmost sanctity. It is
a strict, elaborate ceremonial process. Customarily, the entire
village makes preparations 3 months beforehand. Right Obaa-chan?
Obaachan: Oi, Oi.
K: That long? How come I haven't heard about this super-secret
ceremony?
Ojiichan: Because it's an ancient ESPer secret. As secret as the
marriage ceremony of the Emperor of Japan!
K: Hmm. I guess you have a point there. They only showed diagrams of
the ceremony on TV.
Ojiichan: Then it's agreed. We stay here to prepare for your wedding.
You can help us with our bags.
(Ojiichan uses the Power! to float the luggage over and drop it over
Kyosuke!)
Ojiichan: Oops! Miscalculation.
[At the Shin ABCB]
(The competition begins!)
Everyone is gathered at the Shin ABCB. The whole bar is packed!
Mitsuru Hayakawa stands up at the podium.
Hayakawa: Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Today, we have the main
event. A clash of two rivals. To decide once and for all who is the
best. In this corner, we have the team lead by Akane Kasuga!
(*yeahs and cheers*)
And we have the challengers, led by the Asuma Shinohara!
(*boos*)
I now introduce to you the judges for this contest. Alas, I am not a
judge myself. But here they are: First up is the pack-rat musician
with his own rat pack, the Pack man!
(*hurrah, hurrah*)
Next up is the lovely and talented singer who I led slip through my
fingers, but is still a treat to listen to, the immaculate Yukari!
(*bigger cheers *)
And last, we have a surprise last-minute change in our judges panel,
the irrasible, irritable one himself, just plain 'Izzy'!
A collective...
(* H U H??? *)
And now without further ado, let the contest begin.
Manami: You're certainly exuding confidence tonight Akane.
Akane: (pumps her fists) You bet I am! It is a big step for womankind
in Japan. This day will mark my crowning achievement in defeating the
likes of Shinohara and his goons. Except for the kawaii Shun of
course! She's the only good one in that wacky house.
Manami: She? Akane, I think there is a misunderstanding here.
Akane: What misunderstanding could there be? Shun-chan would be a
great addition to our group. I hope to lure her from the "dark side"
over there over to our side. It must be hell to be residing with those
filthy savages. I think she would appreciate the sensibilities of a
woman's group.
Manami: I think there's something I need to clear up with you Akane.
Akane: Love to chit-chat some more, but our film is about to begin.
Manami: <I guess I can tell her afterwards. Boy, would she be
embarrassed!> (looks around) <I wonder where Muroke is?>
[Akane and company's film starts first]
Film Title: T E N S H I A n g e l s
(We hear Kazuya's voice narrating.)
"What am I doing here? This ain't suppose to be like that. These huts,
up in the trees. They look just like the ones in the Yurushite manga.
(Scene shifts to modern times. We see a school building and three
girls sitting along its vast flight of steps. It is Akane, Manami, and
Kurumi, but they are dressed retro 70's style.)
"Kandy, are ya gonna help out or what?"
"I don't know 'bout this ERA chapter Adrean. Do you really think we as
a sex should be organizing ourselves? "
"Course. Everyone is really open, and loose, and free. Free love is in
the air. Mandy can back me up on that. Ain't that a fact Mandy? Mandy?
"What is?"
"Whatcha starin' at?"
"I'm looking at the birds. The birds in the sky. See how they fly so
free in the big blue sky. And so high."
"Girl, I think she's sky high. What you've been smokin'?"
"Me smoke? (*giggles*)"
"Or was it those magic colorful mushrooms last night? Cuzin' Kazou got
em in the virgin forests of Narusawa."
(A bright glowing shell appears out of nowhere and the 3 girls are
trapped within)
They see glittering heavenly figure kneeling before them.
Mystery Woman: I haven't much time. You three must be the chosen
ones. I shall annoit each of you three with a special power. It will
aid you in your fight against the forces of evil.
Kandy: Whatcha talkin' about lady?
Mystery Woman: No time to spare. (she touches them each lightly on
their forehead)
Mystery Woman: Each of you now possess a unique Power! When you three
link your hands together in a form of a triangle, you will transform
into gallant Protectors of the universe. Activation is done by this
simple phrase:
"We three will free ..."
(*another bright flash*)
Adrean: We're back!
Kandy: Man, what a trip! She was so beautiful!
Mandy: You saw that too?
Adrean: We all did! It must be a sign! We should start the ERA
chapter!
Kandy: I'm a believer now.
Adrean: But what were her final words?
[Segway to a studio shot]
(We see Komatsu wearing a white hat and white fur coat. He is
ornamented with gold jewelry around his hands and neck)
(We see Hatta dressed rather plainly, at his drawing board)
King Kome (aka Komatsu): How's it hangin' my brother?
Mr H. (aka Hatta): Not too good Kingpen. I can't seem to think of
anything nasty to draw.
King Kome: What's the matter? Need some honeys to get ya into the
mood?
Mr H: That won't help. In fact, I think I'm cursed! By a kappaneko in
my dream! I'm afraid my Yurushite manga is doomed! //kappaneko is a
creature that is part cat, part fish.
King Kome: Hold up bro. I'll get a witch-doctor to look at ya.
[Back at Adrean's house]
(Kandy and Mandy are over)
Kandy: Why you call us over? And why is Kazy tied up?
Adrean: My little brother Kazy (//aka Kazuya) is creeping me out!
Mandy: (stares blanky at him) He is A-OK to me.
Adrean: Oh yeah? Listen to him.
Kazy: (evil voice) All of you are doomed! I am Adelf the
demon-king. You are a fool to think I would not awaken again. I have
returned to wreak havoc upon this land once again. You cannot hope to
restrain me in this puny, artificial shell. I shall wipe out all of
you kappaneko. My minions will eat and gnaw at your carrion.
Mandy: He sure sounds like Kaneto Shiozawa.
Kandy: Is he on drugs or what?
Adrean: (looks into his eyes) Nope. No LSD. He must be possessed!
Mandy: You mean like in the Exorcist? How gross!!
Kandy: What to do?
Adrean: I don't know, but we need to see Madoora. She specializes in
the occult.
[Back to the village, inside a hut]
Kazy: (looks at himself in the mirror) Jesus Christ! That spell must
have exchanged my Yurushite manga I was reading and teleported me into
the story! I knew I shouldn't have mixed manga and magicbooks at the
same time! And now I'm stuck here in this strange land!
(A figure walks in with a bow and a lance)
Kazy: Who are you?
"I am the Dean. I lead my people here."
Kazy: Oh yeah. The kappanekos. What do you call your village?
"Kappaneko Village."
Kazy: Oh. I see you are real "happening" creatures here.
Dean: We try to be as simple as possible.
Kazy: Figures.
(in walks a beautiful lady)
"You are conscious now. That is good."
Kazy: Who are you?
"She is the Watcher. She watches over us."
"Do not fear. You may look like the kappaneko, but I know you are not
one of them. "
Kazy: Is this some crazy dream I'm having? Why am I here?
Watcher: We do not know your purpose here. But I have summoned your
friends to your aid.
Kazy: Who?
(The Watcher springs her palm forward and a giant crystal=like ball
appears, showing the 3 ladies)
Kazy: That's sis and her friends!
Watcher: I hope they can defeat Adelf in their dimension. Otherwise,
we are doomed.
Kazy: Adelf?
Watcher: He is the great evil which threatens us. He has extreme
hatred and bigotry towards these people.
Kazy: Why is that?
Watcher: Because he believes that the kappaneko is inferior and should
be destroyed.
Kazy: What a cruel creature. Why do you watch over the kappanekos?
Watcher: That is the way of our all-female sister order. The Guardians
has entrusted us to protect them. I am the matriarch of the order. You
came just in our hour of need.
Kazy: Me?
Watcher: Yes. Adelf has been dormant for over a hundred years. But the
deep evil hatred within him did not die. It grew stronger, making him
stronger. And now he has awoken. Out of desperation, I cast a
dimensional soul switcher spell.
Kazy: Oh. So it wasn't my fault after all. Then why am I not in his
body then?
Watcher: I do not know.
[Back to the Wasuda University]
Adrean: Come on, she's in here!
(We see a dark room inside a dorm with candles)
Adrean: Madoora!
(We see a figure, dressed in all black gown)
Mandy: Spooky!
(Madoora looks up from what looks like a spellbook): Yeesss?
Adrean: My brother's possessed. Can you help?
Madoora: Does a black cat give bad luck? Let me see him.
(We hear growling sounds, as Kandy hauls him in)
Kandy: Watch it or he'll bite!
(Madoora starts to utter an incantation while sprinkling some sort of
dust over the subject)
(some candles go out!)
Madoora: I see a powerful evil spirit inside what was once your
brother. I do not sense your brother's spirit within.
Adrean: Can he be helped?
Madoora: Perhaps. Only an exchange of souls. But alas, where your
brother's soul is wandering, who can foretell.
Mandy: The kid was holding this mangazine at the time.
Madoora: (moves her hand over it) Yes...I feel a strong spiritual
sensation from this object. Your brother may lie within.
Adrean: How do we get him out of there?
Madoora: I need the essence from the creator, of which I can brew a
potion that can create a psychic channel. Only then will we know if
he's there or not.
Mandy; Wonder who wrote the manga?
(*Knock knock knock*)
(In walks King Kome and Mr H!)
Madoora: You must be the troubled men.
King Kome: I ain't. But my main man is. I need you witch-lady to fix
him up, if you know what I mean.
Adrean: Hey, we were here first!
Mr H: Sorry, but I have kappaneko telling me that I'm going to die!
Kazy!: Yes, Kappaneko die!
Mr H: I see you have other wackos to attend to.
Adrean: Hey, how come you know about kappaneko?
Mr H: Of course I should know! I create the creatures in my manga
Yurushite A-GE-RU.
(Kandy slams the door shut behind them)
King Kome: What's going on?
Mandy: Lucky!
[Back to Kappaneko village]
Kazy: So this is what is looks like beyond this area.
(We see a shell of sorts surrounding this green paradise. Beyond the
shell we see a brownish wasteland)
Watcher: 500 years ago, this whole area was a wasteland of war, fought
because of their lust for land. Two sides with no compunction for
killing each other. This continual conflict became bitter rivalries
which beget hatred and revenge.
Kazy: Then how did this area come into place?
Watcher: Legend has it that a greater being came from the sky, riding
a flying white horse. It offered amnesty to those willing to lay down
their arms and make peace. But the main chieftain refused to go along
and instead chose to challenge him. That was Adelf the
Destroyer. There was a great battle. In the end, the unnamed figure
could not destroy Adelf, for that was not in its nature. Instead, it
put a seal on him. And with the last of its strength, it created this
paradise. You know it as the Kappaneko domain.
Kazy: Wow. I didn't know there was such a history to this place. I
just know it as an area in a manga where pretty babes hang out.
(A shrill sounds resonates in the air)
Kazy: What's that?
Watcher: That is a dimensional contact warning. Someone is trying to
reach here.
[Back at Wasuda]
(We see a pot brewing, and Madoora waving a wand and uttering an
incantation)
(She throws in a lock of hair from Mr H.)
Madoora: Oto sasto nisa broma. Talo neko kazoom!
(Nothing happens)
Mandy: Too bad.
Adrean: No! We can give up now! We were given some special power. We
must use it now to activate.
Kandy: What do we do?
Adrean: Let's join hands and utter the sequence.
"Ryoukuai!"
(The 3 stand in a triangle formation around the pot, with the hands
join. They walk around the pot).
We three shall free!
(Nothing happens)
Adrean: Did we forget something?
Kandy: Must have. What could it be?
Mandy: Does it rhyme?
Kazy!: (growls) Free me! Free my spirit within!
Adrean: That must be it! Let's try that.
We three shall free the spirit within!
(A portal spring up from the Yurushite manga book on the floor!)
(Also appearing, after a transformation sequence is the girls now
wearing sailor suits!)
King Kome: Foxy downtown brown! Genuine honeys!
Mandy: Look at us!
Adrean: No time to admire ourselves. We must enter through the portal!
(The 3 girls enter along with the possessed Kazy)
(*A bright flash!*)
They land on a meadow. Approaching them is the Watcher, the Dean, and
kappaneko Kazy.
Kappaneko Kazy: That's my sister! And that's my body!
Kazy!: I have finally entered this zone! Now you shall feel my wrath!
Watcher: Adelf!
Kazy!: Yes. Inside this little boy's body lies the great and power
Adelf.
Dean: Watcher! Let me go vanquish this great evil when we have a
chance.
Kappaneko Kazy: You can't do that! You'll destroy my body.
Kazy!: You will not harm me! But I will harm you! With my assistants!
Adrean: I am Sailor Red.
Kandy: I am Sailor Pink.
Mandy: And I am Sailor Yellow.
(in unison) "Together we're the Sailor Tenshi serving the great master
Adelf!"
(The girls have this stoned look on their face)
Kazy!: Yes Watcher. You forget that I have the power of mind control.
I have used your own creations against you. I shall take pleasure
destroying this place with your own hand! Attack!
Sailor Red launches the "flame" technique, by jumping and sending a
fireball towards one of the huts, setting it on fire.
Kappaneko Kazy: (to the Watcher) Aren't you going to do anything? Are
you going to stand there and watch?
Watcher: I cannot attack. I am a pacifist. That is why I gave these
girls the power to fight for us.
Kappaneko Kazy: Great. We gonna die!
Sailor Pink launches the "Momoiro-toki" technique.
Sailor Yellow just stands there.
Kazy!: Attack! I told you to attack!
Sailor Yellow: But I don't have an attack. But I have flowers. Want
some flowers?
Kazy!: You good for nothing girl!
Dean: This must be the end for us kappaneko.
(A bright flash appears again)
(It is Madoora!)
Kappaneko Kazy: Now who is she?
Kazy!: Get the witch lady!
(but Madoora calmly holds up a camera and starts to flash it into each
of the Sailor Tenshi eyes)
Adrean: Woah, what happened?
Kandy: Were we knocked out or what?
Mandy: I want to take a nap.
(Madoora flashes the camera at Kazy!, but to no avail)
Kazy!: Your tricks won't work on me! Now I shall reveal my true self!
(We see Kazy!'s body collapse to the grass)
(They see a shapeless, silver form rise up, like in Terminator 2)
Watcher: Adelf!
Adelf: I have waited 500 years, but victory shall be mine! I shall
raze this place to ashes!
"Not if we have anything to say about it!"
"'Cause we're the Tenshi Angels!"
Adrean: And on behalf of the Angels, we shall PUNISH you!
Adelf: You weaklings are no match for me!
(Adelf unleashes an red energy bolt!)
(The 3 angels respond back with their own technique. They stand in
triangle formation and shoot blue energy beams right back. We see the
red and blue energies colliding with each other. But the red energy
bolt is slowly overtaking the blue one.)
Kandy: He's too strong for us! We can't hold out much longer!
Mandy: What shall we do?
Adrean: We must keep trying.
Dean: We must help them!
Watcher: No. There is nothing we can do. But perhaps you can. (points
to Madoora)
Madoora: What can I do?
Watcher: Legend has it that the four "angels" from another dimension
would come to subdue the revival of Adelf. You are the "lone" angel.
(They hold hands and a strange glow starts to emanate from Madoora)
Madoora: I understand my purpose now.
(Back to the battle)
Kandy; We're done for!
(The red beam knocks all the angels off their feet and to the grass!)
Adelf: Ha ha ha! You puny creatures are no match for the great Adelf!
Now to finish you off!
"You should watch what you say."
Adelf: Who said that?
"I did."
(We see Madoora floating right above Adelf!)
Madoora: We sisters shall join together to put you away for good! Now
Ladies!
"Right!"
(The 4 ladies channel their powers together to initiate the SUPER
BEAM!)
(It looks like a pyramid formation they are forming)
Adelf: No! It cannot be! I'm shrinking, I'm shrinking...
(*POOF!*)
(They see a silver metallic ore on the ground where Adelf once stood)
[Segway back to a sleeping Mr H. back in his studio]
"Yo brother! You OK?"
Mr H: Kingpen! I had the strangest dream. It was about these 4 foxy
angelic creatures and they were fighting this evil creature in my
Yurushite make-believe land and...
King Kome: You found your touch again brother! Your manga block is
over. Start drawing! And don't forget to make those fine ladies extra
nice and naked.
"Delivery!"
King Kome: Lunch boy is here.
"Mister, that will be 740 yen."
Mr H: Hey, haven't I seen you before?
(Delivery boy looks up from his baseball cap covering his face. We see
it is Kazy!)

[Back at #1's apartment]
Muroke: Haven't I done enough?
(*Woof*)
#1: You heard the dog. Taki says no.
Muroke: What more do you want from me? I've followed Shijama around
this past week and got you the recordings.
#1: If recordings of mumbo-jumbo by a bogus priest is your idea of
help, then no.
Muroke: Like what am I suppose to do? Go undercover and infiltrate
this cult for you?
#1: Hmmmm. That's not a bad idea at all! Since you volunteered...
Muroke: Ooops! Me and my big mouth!
[Intermission between the films]
(Akane sees Shun in the bathroom vicinity)
Akane: Shun-san! Just the person I wanted to see! You're taking a
bathroom break during the intermission? Me too. Let's go together.
Shun: Huh?
(Akane drags him into the Woman's Restroom!)
Shun: Um, Akane-san. What did you want me for?
Akane: What I want to tell you...(edges in closer)...for the longest
time (and closer)...how much...(even closer!) I admire you. (Akane
face is only a breath away from Shun's face)
Shun: You admire me?
Akane: (deep voice) Yes. It is so magnificent how you can control a
gang of unruly boys at that house.
Shun: (tries to creep away) I do try my best as an RA to keep the boys
in line.
Akane: Oh, how modest you are. But not I. I have withheld my
"admiration" from you for too long. But no longer. Now is the right
time to express my true feelings for you. I just wanted to say that
I...
Shun: Hold on! All this tension is really making me want to go! Gomen!
(rushes into the stall. We soon hear the trickling of water)
(Akane waits patiently, but notices a strange thing. Shun's feet seems
to be in the wrong position.)
As Shun leaves the stall, Akane sees Shun zip up his front zipper.
Akane: (puts her hand over her mouth) You're....you're a man!
(Akane rushes out out the bathroom!)
[At the Tokyo police precinct]
Jackson: You got that registration info for me Natsumi?
Natsumi: Sure did buckaroo. But it's highly irregular for you to ask
me to check out a rental car.
Jackson: Who else in the traffic division could I ask but you?
Natsumi: Don't kid yourself; your sweet-talk don't work on me.
Jackson: So it doesn't. So what have you got?
Natsumi: According to the rental car agency, the car is registered out
to the Yamazumi Kensetsu corporation. They're the biggest construction
company in Japan. But here's the strange part. They didn't bother to
take his name. Looks like someone's hands got a fill of bribe money.
Jackson: Thanks Natsumi. That info is help enough. I'll soon get to
the bottom of this. I owe you one.
Natsumi: You bet you do. I'm aiming to collect real soon. So watch
your back!
Jackson: You too. Ja.
[Ayukawa Mansion]
(Kyosuke, ojiichan, and obaachan all sitting around drinking tea)
Ojiichan: A ghost? In this house?
Kyosuke: Yes. That's what Madoka thinks. That's was why I was so
hesitant to let you stay here. She hasn't gotten a good night sleep in
days. So I made her take sleeping pills. That's why she's upstairs
right now, peacefully slumbering. She's been pretty spooked by this
ghost thing.
Ojiichan: Ghost is not good. Haunts the soul and the mind. Bad omen
for marriage. Am I not right?
Obaachan: Oi, Oi.
K: Of course I know it's not good. But what am I suppose to do about
it?
Ojiichan: You need my help. You might not be able to sense these
things, since you're a half-Esper. All the more reason for us to stay
here. We'll be your ghosthunters!
K: Uh oh.
[Back to the Shin ABCB]
Taku: That film was awfully good. And Rikkako was great as Madoora. It
looks like we have our work cut for us.
Hasukawa: We mustn't lose the faith.
Hayakawa Mitsuru: Everyone please return to your seats. And now, the
second half of our double-feature. Presenting the Ryokurin Ryo Acting
Troupe and their film!
