What's New:

(1/24/2003) Gary Kleppe is a complete dope and can't write. This isn't
really an update; it's a constant.

(6/18/2003) Gary Kleppe is still not worth anyone's time. I bet his
mother read a book while giving birth to him. Needless to say, We were
still bastard enough to make fun of two more stories, acting like we
acknowledge his existence or something. Rest assured, we don't. You
can still read the new kleppings of "The Sign" and "I Told You So",
but we are not responsible for any symptoms or injuries you incur
(usually violent hatred, leading to loss of sanity).
(6/25/2003) Klepping is difficult. We can feel our brainen selz
rottttttttingzinzinzinkaflink...So we've taken a break from doing
full-length Kleppe features (crap). Speaking of crap, there's a new
section at the bottom of the page devoted to stupid things written by
anime fans. Don't worry--they are all kleppt. And just for the record,
ANYTHING written by anime fans will be stupid to the superlative
degree.
(3/8/2004) Anime fans are the ABSOLUTE, without a TRACE of doubt,
stupidest people in the world. I don't even know what to say. Check
out the new forums at the bottom of the page, and the exceedingly gay
attempt and trying to prove "anime is not cartoons". They are. Also,
Check out "The Bittern End", "Ranma and Friends", and "Peaceful Life:
Part 1" No, don't worrry, it's safe. They are Kleppt. Well, that's not
really SAFE, just...diluted.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Klepping is Fun!

What is Klepping? Klepping is the act of violently criticizing
someone's work when they truly deserve it. Gary Kleppe is one of the
worst writers(?) we've ever come across, and it's a shame that people
don't seem to notice that. Apart from personally attacking his
character, this page intends to show why fanfiction is a farce in
general and, through literary terrorism, point out exactly why such
things are garbage, because it seems to me that most fans of Japanese
cartoons are too stuck up to think anything related to Japan can be
bad. Most fanfiction sucks. They are usually collections of cliches or
plots that spawn from a crappy central situation. Please E-mail us and
let us know what you think of these kleppings. You can even flame us
if you like. Be warned, however, that it had BETTER be a well-written
flame. Klepping is not reserved for Gary alone.

I'm flattered that I still occupy such a high importance in your
thoughts, little troll.

Wish I could say the same for you, but... oh well. Run along, now. See
you next year, or whenever.

I feel your pain....

I to have been caught by some people's blocking of various domains. For me
it was Hotmail, until I finally got my own ISP account.

However, arent there other alternatives to google?

Assuming you run Windows, pick a newsreader from the list of freeware
found at <http://pricelessware.org/thelist/net.htm#Newsreader:%20Client>
and get yourself an account at <http://news.individual.net>, then kiss
Google goodbye unless you want to look something up in their archives.

Plenty though, to be honest, I wouldn't trust any of the web mail
services. There is too much pressure from certain companies to put all
Internet services into one single client but all this does, IMO, is make
for an increasingly bloated and unmanageable client, and the kind of
loopholes that exist in Google's news interface which lead to so much of
this troll/spam rubbish are just one of the consequences.

I can't lay all the blame on Google; lazy users, bad ISP and customer
support by suppliers, media and company pressure from you know where also
have had a hand in this problem.

I didn't take the decision to block Google postings lightly, since I knew
that it would mean that legitimate posters would be blocked too. It all
comes down to the same reason why I blocked my-deja.com postings a few
years back before Deja was swallowed by Google.

As long as Google insist on allowing their service to be used by users
that effectively anonymise their output to allow ellicit posting (spam and
trolls alike) and as long as they don't act seriously with regard to spam
and troll complaints (I've seen a few of their ignore-bot replies) then I
do not want their postings clogging up my system. It's as fair as that.
