Another leaf.

I must get them all.
I must keep the yard clean.
I must.

Another.

I've tried and I've tried but I just can't.

One falls,
Then another,
Then another.

Look!

Some papers have blown in from the street.

So many.

So many.

I have to be perfect.
...or at least better.

I'm here to help.

I'm here to make life easier.

I'm here to make you smile.

I've managed to keep them away.

Keep you safe - with me.

I've sounded like the Principal.

I've sounded like the Nurse.

"The school is under quarantine. The doctors just expect it to last
24 hours."

"No, of course. Everyone is fine."

The way you smile now makes me happy.

The way you all smile makes me smile too.

I clean and I polish and keep the school sparkling.

Flies.

They buzz and buzz.

I wish I could make them go away.

There are more now than there were a few hours ago.

No one seems to mind.

I made them all lunch yesterday.

My data banks told me what to do.

It's getting late.

Another leaf falls.

I must keep the yard clean.
