For those who don't recall when I first announced it, Fanfic to HTML, as
the name implies) is a program designed to take text files (and
fanfiction in particular) and turn them into valid HTML that I wrote to
make my life easier when designing my website. Figuring it might be
useful to some people, I publicly released it.
I have just released a new version, adding two new features. First, the
program will now ask if you REALLY want to overwrite a file when the
output file already exists. Second, and more importantly, the program
will now handle Microsoft's additions to standard text, such as 'curly'
quotes and apostrophes. This fixes the only input file I've used that
has produced a file that didn't validate.
It can be found at: http://www.mimiru.net/misc/fic2html.html
If you use it and have any problems or suggestions, please let me know.
