View Full Version : Looking for fanfic: "Meiyo Ai soshite Nikushimi"

I'm looking for Meiyo Ai soshite Nikushimi by Joseph Kohle
(http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Flats/6184/main.html). After the first
two chapters on his site, the rest are all dead links. The RAAC
archive doesn't have it, and a couple of large searches haven't
revealed something I can read of anything other than the first two
chapters. Anyone here know where I can find the rest, because from the
beginning it looks like a great fic.

Part 4, Chapter 9 isn't a dead link.
Hmm... have you considered emailing the author?
I mean, that *is* his own page after all.

MASN is a great story -- I had the honor of Pre-reading it for Joseph many
years ago and being his pre-reader was how I got into fanfiction. I know
Joseph in real life and he hasn't worked on MASN in years. Honestly I think
the story is dead which is really quite sad and the e-mail on the page is
now defunct. At one point all of the story released was on the FFML back
before ELL was moderator -- I don't know if the FFML archive has it at all
or not.
If you are looking for more stories by him, I know that RAAC has Legacy and
MASN part one (in the lemon section).

I'm seriously thinking its time for a "what 'dead' fanfics would you like to
see revived" thread. Not that it would likely get anyone writing of
course.....

It's not dead, it's just resting... ^_^;
Seriously, this one's still making progress; I'm just writing other
stories too, and all more slowly than I'd like.

I remember seeing the most-recent chapter re-posted to RAAC, but I
haven't seen anything new in over a year...

Robert Haynie posted an unfinished draft of part 18 on the ffml on
November 17, 2002.

It's still in development. I just haven't had nearly as much time to write
as I once did. And incomplete part of Chapter 18 is on my website...

You've updated your page in living memory at least, so we knew you weren't
dead, or abducted by Alien Space Bats or something. :-)
As for "dead" fics have to agree about Hearts Healing. Another is the Gall
Force/ST: TNG crossover The Hills of Time, and I actually saw a post
someplace from the author saying he hadn't given it up even if he's done
nothing in 2 some years. Wouldn't hold my breathe waiting for Zen given
that he went so far as to take down his fics from his webpage.

And pretty funny still too, I may add... Damn shame that real-life (tm)
seems to have caught up with a lot of people - just about every story that I
personally have been trying to keep up with was on the original list.
My own additions:
Joshua Trujilo - The All-Americans
W F Rose - The Forever Man
Carrotglace - The Three Saotomes

That link to the ffml mini-archive doesn't work. Hasn't worked for a couple of years.
