View Full Version : almost survey time... I think

Folks, it's getting to that time of year again. No, not that. The
time for my annual fan survey. I'm reviewing my posting policy for
notices. I think last year I posted an intro to all of the RAA.*
newsgroups, then posted the survey/pointer in just RAA.misc and
RAA.fandom. Is that alright, or would folks prefer I also crossposted
the survey to the rest of RAA?
BTW, The intro page to past survey results, and intended intro to the
next one, is at
http://members.shaw.ca/ru.igarashi/Surveys/fans/
(Yeah, I haven't updated it for the next one yet).
Oh, I'm aiming for starting the next survey on 13 Sept. It'll
run on RAA for 2 weeks, then I switch to at least one web
forum for 2 more weeks, then I post results (about a week later).
I may delay the start date by 1 or 2 weeks, though, depending
on personal circumstances.

P.S. followups set to RAA.fandom

Why not followups to r.a.a.m. too?

Because discussing the organization of a survey is less a discussion
of anime as much as a fan activity, which makes it on-topic for
RAA.fandom and not on-topic for RAA.misc. Which is another way
of saying, "I didn't want to clutter up RAA.misc with this kind
of mess."

That's right! We can clutter it up with all sorts of other mess instead! ;)
